She graduated summa cum laude with a bachelor's degree from Eastern New Mexico University, passed the CPA exam on the first try in May 1998, and manages her own consulting business. She has extensive expertise in general ledger practices, financial statement preparation, Medicaid and Medicare cost report preparation, budgeting, cash flow projections, accounts payable, financial analysis, and state and federal audits.
